Every pupil should endeavor to keep up the high standards and values of the school.
Parents or guardians who send their children to this school must understand that by doing so they agree to delegate to the school authorities the control which they are entitled to exercise over children in all matters connected with the school especially in terms of school discipline, behaviour both inside and outside the school. Incase of unacceptable behaviour or improper or inappropriate conduct, child might be taken to task and the decision of the authorities will be final though students counselled and are given a chance to reflect and improve themselves.
Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence for more than seven class days, habitual idleness, disobedience or objectionable moral influence, frequent failure to obtain “good” in conduct or application in the progress reports will justify dismissal.
Pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside the school.
Each pupil has the right to privacy and dignity. Bullying of any kind is forbidden and if found strict action will be taken. Individuals can also be vindictive in speech or in deeds; this is also destructive and will not be tolerated. The privacy of individuals also extends to their possessions. Theft or casual “borrowing” are dishonest practices which undermine the community.
All pupils are expected to take due care of the school property, no vandalism. Any damage caused to the equipment or to buildings should be reported immediately to the school staff and will have to be taken care of.
Running, playing or shouting in the academic block is not allowed.
When pupils move along the corridors, as when changing classes, they must walk in silence and in a single file. They should always keep to the left except when several classes are going down the stairs together. The teacher in the class should be the last to leave.
Pupils are expected to be clean and tidy, orderly and respectful both in the classes and in public. Rude, disorderly or other objectionable conduct in or out of the school will be punished.
Personal cleanliness and hygiene are expected of all. Shabby, unkempt hair is not permitted. Boys are not allowed to wear earrings or any other form of jewelery. Shirts and blouses should be neatly tucked in at all times.
All should particularly be careful not to litter the school campus. They should use the waste baskets and litter bins.
No books (other than text or library books), may be brought to the school.
Cellular phones are not to be used during class hours.
The school is not responsible for any books, money or other articles that are lost by a pupil. The students must look after their own belongings. It is advisable not to bring large sums of money or valuable articles to school.
All are expected to speak in English while in the school.
