Oral Polio Vaccination (OPV) drive for preschoolers

We at GMIS held a successful oral polio vaccination (OPV) drive for our preschoolers on 29th July 2024, ensuring that our little ones receive essential protection against polio.

The OPV works by stimulating the production of antibodies in the bloodstream, offering vital defense against all three types of poliovirus. This prevents the spread of the virus to the nervous system, thereby safeguarding children from polio paralysis. Our dedicated team ensured a smooth and friendly vaccination process, contributing to a healthier future for our students. Here’s a glimpse of the day’s activities and the smiles that came with it!
